Long-serving National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist Jeremiah Kasalku Takal has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Saboba Constituency Organiser, promising to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and build a united front ahead of the 2028 general elections.
In a declaration addressed to party members and supporters, Mr. Takal said his decision follows months of deep reflection and extensive consultations with the rank and file of the party across the constituency.
Describing himself as a proud and committed member of the NDC, he said his years of dedicated service at the grassroots have equipped him with the experience, understanding, and commitment needed to lead the party’s organisational machinery in Saboba.
“My aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to serve and to strengthen our party from the grassroots up,” he stated. “Our branches remain the backbone of the NDC, and together we can build a stronger, more united, and better-organised constituency capable of delivering victory in 2028.”
Mr. Takal pledged to prioritise effective branch coordination, sustained grassroots mobilisation, greater inclusion of party activists, and improved engagement with polling station executives and branch leadership. He said his vision is to build an energetic and disciplined organisational structure that leaves no member behind and ensures every branch remains active and empowered.
He also called on delegates, party executives, and supporters across the Saboba Constituency to rally behind his candidature, stressing that the upcoming internal elections present an opportunity to reposition the constituency for future electoral success.
“I humbly seek your prayers, your support, and ultimately your vote,” he said. “Together, we can organise effectively, mobilise our people, and secure an overwhelming victory for the National Democratic Congress in 2028.”
His declaration officially sets the stage for what is expected to be a keenly contested race for the Saboba Constituency Organiser position as the NDC prepares for its internal elections.
