Konja Launches Bid for NDC Deputy Youth Role, Pledging Grassroots Mobilisation and Organisational Renewal

Abraham Lincoln Konja has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krachi Nchumuru Constituency, setting out a campaign centred on youth empowerment, grassroots mobilisation and strengthening the party’s organisational structures ahead of future electoral contests.

In a declaration addressed to party executives, elders, patrons, youth members and supporters, Konja said his decision was driven by a commitment to serve and unify the party while providing stronger representation for young members at the constituency level.

“My desire is to serve, unite, mobilize and empower our youth while working hand in hand with every level of our party leadership,” he said.

Konja pledged to work closely with branch executives, constituency executives, the Member of Parliament, District Chief Executive, and regional and national party leadership to reduce the burden of youth mobilisation, expand political education and deepen grassroots organisation.

He also promised to ensure that the concerns and aspirations of young people are effectively represented while helping them access opportunities through party and government programmes.

The aspiring Deputy Youth Organizer said his leadership would be guided by unity, loyalty, humility, accessibility and hard work, arguing that stronger youth structures would translate into a more competitive and cohesive constituency organisation.

The declaration comes as the NDC prepares for internal organisational elections across the country, with constituency youth positions expected to play a significant role in shaping mobilisation strategies and strengthening party structures ahead of future national elections.

Closing his declaration, Konja appealed to delegates and party members for their support, urging them to transform his campaign slogan of “Vision. Action. Results.” into a collective agenda for the constituency.

“Together, let us turn Vision into Action and Action into Results,” he said.
