Tema West’s Hajia Haria Builds Grassroots Support Network for Widows Through Regular Community Dialogue

In an era where social protection is increasingly recognised as a cornerstone of sustainable community development, Hajia Haria Rufai has launched a sustained grassroots initiative aimed at strengthening support for widows across the Tema West Municipality through periodic engagement sessions focused on welfare, inclusion and empowerment.

The community-based programme brings together widows from different parts of the constituency to share their experiences, discuss the challenges confronting them and provide direct feedback on issues affecting their livelihoods and well-being.
