PETROSOL IPO coming soon after approval to raise capital on GSE
Petrosol to be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange

PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC has received regulatory clearance to raise long-term funding through the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), marking a significant step in the company's plans to expand its operations and strengthen its position in Ghana's energy industry.
The announcement was made by the company's Chief Executive Officer, Michael Bozumbil, during the 2026 Ghana International Petroleum Conference (GhIPCon) held in Accra. Speaking at the event, he outlined PETROSOL's vision of growing its petroleum business while increasing investments in renewable energy solutions.
Mr.Bozumbil explained that the approvals granted by both the Ghana Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) followed a comprehensive review of the company's governance structure, regulatory compliance, financial credibility, and long-term growth strategy.
He described the development as a major milestone in PETROSOL's nearly two-decade journey, noting that the business has evolved from a petroleum consulting firm into one of Ghana's leading indigenous oil marketing companies.
According to him, the capital to be raised will support the company's long-term investment programmed, which includes expanding its operations and financing renewable energy initiatives such as solar power projects and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Mr. Bozumbil said PETROSOL remains committed to sustainable growth by pursuing strategic partnerships, embracing innovation, and taking advantage of government policies designed to support the energy sector. He added that the company aims to provide reliable fuel products while increasing access to cleaner energy solutions.
Established in 2006 as a petroleum consultancy, PETROSOL entered the oil marketing business in 2014 in response to government initiatives encouraging greater local participation in Ghana's downstream petroleum industry.

Since then, the company has expanded its presence across the country, operating more than 100 service stations and providing employment to approximately 490 people.
The CEO attributed PETROSOL's steady growth to sound corporate governance, disciplined financial management, and consistent adherence to industry regulations, despite operating through challenging economic conditions.
The company has also strengthened its reputation through internationally recognised ISO certifications covering quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety. In addition, PETROSOL has received recognition from the Ghana Revenue Authority for its tax compliance and remains in good standing with regulators including the National Petroleum Authority, Environmental Protection Authority, and Ghana Standards Authority.
Beyond fuel retailing, PETROSOL is accelerating investments in renewable energy. As part of its strategy to support Ghana's energy transition, the company plans to introduce electric vehicle charging facilities at selected service stations nationwide.
Mr. Bozumbil emphasized that predictable government policies remain essential for the growth of indigenous businesses, arguing that consistent policy implementation has enabled local companies to compete effectively alongside multinational operators within Ghana's petroleum sector.
He also noted that PETROSOL's support for the 2026 Ghana International Petroleum Conference reflects its commitment to promoting industry collaboration, innovation, investment, and sustainable development.
Looking to the future, the company intends to further expand its nationwide retail network, scale up its renewable energy investments, and create additional employment opportunities.
The planned capital raise is expected to enhance PETROSOL's financial strength while providing Ghanaian investors with another opportunity to participate in the country's capital market as the company pursues its next phase of growth.
